WIP Sculpts

Since last year I start many projects. Today since I was photoshooting refs, I took the time to photoshoot all my work-in-progress sculpts. Some are not feauturing there because I choose to switch to digital art instead: Captain Harlock ship replica: Arcadia.

Arnold 1.3: WIP 001

It's a start. I did start a 2 feet tall armature for my Arnold but for sculpting head i'm better doing it in a bust format first. That way, I will have a Bust format and a full body format, by sculpting one head.

I don't plan getting him a pose in the full body. Since that version will be the nuked T-800 model 101 when his arrive and raise from his timesphere in Terminator 2, I don't really need a pose.

With that bust, I would be able to replicate every Arnold characters from the 80-90'. I though maybe I should start doing a serie of busts of Iconic Characters from the movies. Starting by Arnold of course, but I have a nice list in my head.

Terminator 2 Tribute : WIP 011

WIP 011:
  • Lighten the Skin Shader
  • Refine a bit the Jacket: It's two sided now and I have added a pocket (redo the topology)

Terminator 2 Tribute : WIP 010

WIP 010:
  • Adding HD lightsetup and keeping my Keylight ON. The rest is OFF now.
  • Defining the Face
  • Define the shaders (still need to unwrap for mesh)

Magic Door / Terminator 2 Tribute

Man, it's been a wide since I post in my blog. Need to update my status. First, I was unable to finish the last Hardcore Modeling Challenge of CGSociety.org: The Magic Door, but here's my entry.


I didn't finish it because I start a Tribute of Terminator 2. I post many "work-in-progress" on CGSociety and other 3d forums already. Here's my last WIP and the other wips so far.
